Manage Your Account

Home > Manage Your Account

Access Health CT is here for you all year long. Your online account is an easy way to manage your insurance plan(s) and your household information. It’s important to keep your account updated. If your home and/or mailing address, phone number, household size or income change, you need to let us know right away. Here are a few other ways you can make the most of your online account.

Sign up for text and email alerts

You can sign up for text message or email alerts. These messages include important information and deadlines to help you stay covered and connected all year long.

Go paperless

You can choose to have important documents and notices uploaded to your account inbox instead of mailed to you. This includes your IRS Form 1095-A. If you or anyone in your family was enrolled in a health plan (Qualified Health Plan or QHP) through Access Health CT in the previous year, you’ll need to file this form with your taxes. It arrives by the beginning of February.

Update or manage your household

You can update your household information in your online account. This includes your home and/or mailing address, phone number, email address or other contact information. Under Edit My Setting, click Update Contact Information. You can also update your estimated household income. If you need to add or remove a household member, you can make that change to your account. Select Report income or Household changes.

Renew or cancel coverage

You can renew your insurance from your account during Open Enrollment. You can also start the process to cancel your coverage from your account.

Add an authorized user

If you want a person to act on your behalf, you can include them as your “Authorized Representative” in your account. This Representative can help with enrollment or applications, contact the call center on your behalf and help manage your account. This person should be someone you trust such as a spouse, parent, family member, social worker, case manager, broker, attorney, etc. This is optional; you do not need to name an Authorized Representative.

See broker information

If you have a broker assigned to work with you, you can see their contact information in your account. Click Manage my Assistance to see this information.
